Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services (RHITES) - North, Lango, Uganda

Another Option is the strategic lead for social and behavior change (SBC) on the USAID Uganda-funded RHITES-N, Lango project managed by John Snow International (JSI). This five-year effort aims to increase the utilization of health services in HIV, malaria, TB, and maternal and child health by improving the delivery of integrated services at the facility and community level.

Another Option has developed a five-year SBC strategy with special emphasis on integrated behavior change at the community level through the active engagement of religious and community leaders, civil society organizations, women’s organizations, and youth groups. Additionally, Another Option is providing ongoing capacity building support for interpersonal communication, stigma reduction for health providers, social mobilization, community outreach activities, and advocacy programs.
